Regions and chapters

The Social Democratic Party covers seventeen regions which include every Estonian county plus the two largest cities, Tartu and Tallinn. Regions that do not have a chapter have both regional and chapter related rights and responsibilities.

Every chapter must consist of at least seven party members. Every county and borough can form one chapter, and in Tallinn every city district can form a chapter. Chapters are allowed to combine with one another. There are currently 83 chapters in the Social Democratic Party.
